Our top tips for using your electric grill
So, we’ve covered most of the basics, and hopefully answered any burning questions you might have about how to use an electric grill. But we thought it would be nice to add a few extra tips to help you get the most out of your appliance!
- For quicker pre-heating, be sure to close the lid of the grill. Keeping the cooking plates together like this will help them heat up faster.
- Avoid using metal tongs or a knife – or anything metal at all, really! – when removing food from the grill. It can be easy to accidentally scratch the non-stick coating on the cooking plates.
- If you select the “beef” pre-set option on the Stealth Smart Grill, you will hear a beep when the food reaches both “rare” and “medium”. Otherwise, you will only hear a beep when it reaches “well done”.
- As with a regular barbeque, it’s a great idea to season or marinate your meat before cooking it on the grill. For the best results, why not leave it in the marinade overnight to absorb all the flavour?
